NAIL OF THE WEEK #1

I am a fan of nail art (not that I'm any good) so I thought I would add a weekly feature that shows off what I'm wearing on my nails. Sometimes it will be my elaborate useless attempt at some actual nail art and other times it will just be my favourite nail varnish.

So first up is a nail varnish I have seen all over the blogging world L'Oreal Confetti. I have been meaning to go and buy it for a couple of weeks, I finally remembered whilst in Boots, and picked myself up a bottle. I love a glitter topcoat and I have also been eyeing up the Illamasqua speckled polishes, but at £14.50 a pop they are slightly out of my price range. 
I have paired this with my new favourite nude polish Topshop Mannequin. It was love at first sight, even if when I went downstairs my Mum told me my nails looked like eggs...cheers Mum. 
I applied 2 coats of Mannequin and then 1 coat of Confetti but you could definitely add more. 

I definitely planning on testing it on top of every colour nail varnish I own to see what it looks like!
