I am a child of the 90's and the Spice Girls were my favourite band EVER! So when my Auntie said she had bought us tickets to go and see Viva Forever I was ridiculously excited. It was all a surprise for my gorgeous cousin's 19th birthday and we went as 3 mums and 3 daughters, a proper girly evening out.

I had read the reviews and was apprehensive that it wouldn't do my favourite songs justice but in my humble opinion it was great. The songs worked so well with the story, and although it took a little time to get into it was worth the wait, let's just say the scene with 2 become 1 was a very literal translation.

After the musical we went for dinner at Strada. Normally I take any opportunity to try out new restaurants when I am up in Soho, but we had a very hungry teenager with us who had spent the whole day playing football for Arsenal, so we went with the safe option. I love carbs, so anywhere that serves pizza's that are bigger than the plate is just great in my eyes.

I had such a good evening and I do love spending time with my Mama Bear, we also took a nostalgia trip to see Her Majesty's Theatre where my Grandma was on stage back in the 50's when she was expecting my Mummy.

I would thoroughly recommend Viva Forever for a girly day out and if you are Spice Girls lover like me you definitely won't be disappointed.
