JANUARY ROUND UPFebruary 02, 2017
Holy moly it's February already! I don't know where January went but boy was I glad for the longest pay month in the history of time to be over. My poor credit card took a real battering last month! I thought I would take a little look at the things that have happened to me in January and also some bits that I've been loving.
The most exciting thing to happen this month was of course my birthday. I have had to accept I am definitely in my late 20's now and the realisation 30 is only 2 years away is mildly terrifying. I didn't plan on having a wild night out but of course it ended up that way. 5 shots of Cafe Patron (my new favourite drink) and about 3 bottles of prosecco later I found myself dancing with my best pals and family in Tooting. It was a cracking night, the highlight was my sister accidentally ordering 100 chicken nuggets in Maccys - so much chicken haha. Oh and most importantly Mike is taking me to Pennyhill Park for a Spa retreat - I can't bloody wait,
I'm not the slimmest person so following fashion isn't always advisable as a lot of things don't look that great on me. I have however become obsessed with the oversized hoodies/denim jackets and skinny jeans trend. Chuck on some high sock boots and a choker for good measure and you are good to go. I've been wearing khaki and blush pink hoodies from H&M on rotation since they arrived.
Check out Sophia and Cinzia on Insta and Youtube, they are hilarious and have mad style.
I think turning 28 has caused me to regress about 10 years. I've become completely obsessed with playing Sims again! Every evening I like to play for an hour or so and the drama I have created with my little family on there is great. It's like an episode of Jeremy Kyle haha.
Food and Drink
Along with Cafe patron, basically an espresso martini in shot form, I have been indulging in many Bloody Marys. I don't need a hangover to drink them, I am officially obsessed with incredibly spicy tomato juice. I don't know if that makes me a bit weird! My favourite place to enjoy a Bloody Mary is The Breakfast Club at Boxpark in Croydon, I could definitely eat the giant chicken burger right now and it's 10am.
I bought a new foundation, Maybelline Fit Me, as I've started fake tanning more and my normal one just isn't dark enough. It's quite a watery formula but blends in sooo well with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. Also new is the Sleek Face Contour Kit, I went for the medium and it's a lovely matt bronzer and pigmented highlighter (which I've been using as an eyeshadow). I only use Sleek products for contouring and this one is a great little compact.
|Clockwise - partying with my babes - bloody marys at Boxpark - matching my nails to my pom - loving my ruffle sleve dress from Primark.|
